OverviewSenior Electrical Revit Modeler, Buildings role at WSP in Canada. The position involves Electrical and Lighting design and BIM 3D Revit Modeling for Transportation Buildings projects, within the Mechanical and Electrical Group in the GTA and Southwestern Ontario. You will assist the BIM Manager to lead the GTA M&E team towards 100% BIM adoption and extensive use of design automation for project delivery as part of a major corporate initiative.Join a team shaping the future of transportation infrastructure with cutting-edge technology and innovative design.What you can expect to do hereDesign and 3D model Power Distribution, Circuiting, Conduit Runs, Grounding, Lighting Protection, Lighting and Fixture Selection, Lighting Control, and Fire Alarm systems.Follow GTA M&E Digital Standards and Automation Procedure.Assist Electrical Engineers and Lighting Designers with system calculations, equipment selections and Lighting Fixtures and Lighting Control.Support BIM users to maintain efficient and effective modeling operations.Support and mentoring of Revit-based teams.Support corporate BIM standards, policies and procedures.Clarify project setup to support the project setup team.Assist in developing cutting-edge tools to support BIM team in efficient workflows.Assist and support BIM training initiatives as required.Coordinate with WSP’s offshore design team in India.Stay up to date with the latest trends related to BIM 3D Revit Modeling and design automation.What you’ll bring to WSPSuperior knowledge of Revit 3D Modeling, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and other BIM Add-ins tools.Obtaining a valid Autodesk Revit Certification is a plus.Previous experience supporting national or regional BIM standards is an asset.Previous experience with design automation and production through technology.Passion for Digital Delivery Technologies with the ability to promote these technologies and practices to increase user effectiveness.Superior interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly, effectively, and handle project delivery pressure.Strong, self-motivated work ethic with the ability to be effective and timely while providing consistent follow-up.Organized and methodical with a resourceful capacity for resolving challenges.Familiar with Navisworks and Dynamo Script writing.Familiar with Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Bentley MicroStation.Why choose WSP?We value and uphold a culture of inclusion and belonging.Flexible Work Policy to support balance between work and home life.A Canadian success story with a national footprint.Impact the world around you from environment to infrastructure through contributing to projects.Outstanding career opportunities and a culture that encourages ideas and innovation.A collaborative environment with a team dedicated to meaningful work.About UsWSP is one of the world’s leading professional services firms, with a purpose to future-proof cities and environments.
