Job Description CIMA+’s Project Management team delivers construction projects across a wide range of industries, including institutional and heritage buildings, healthcare, public transportation, energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and design of large‑scale projects for major clients in the Greater Montreal area. In this role, you will oversee the full coordination of design activities with the client’s professional teams, manage communications, and handle all approval requests with government partners — including ministries, municipalities, and public agencies. You will also contribute to the preparation of the business case, providing essential expertise to support decision‑making and project advancement. Primary Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and lead large‑scale projects from preliminary studies to final delivery, ensuring a comprehensive vision and rigorous execution Ensure alignment of professional teams with client needs, quality objectives, and the established budget, while performing strategic monitoring of any variances Support and advise stakeholders in identifying innovative solutions to ensure optimal project management and smooth execution Act promptly on critical issues that may impact profitability, schedules, the supply chain, or deliverable quality, by engaging relevant stakeholders Prepare, structure, and facilitate progress meetings with clients and internal and external partners, ensuring clear, transparent, and results‑oriented communication Actively participate in operational and strategic activities related to project management, including process improvement, risk management, and performance monitoring Qualifications University degree in Architecture, Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), or any other relevant field Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management Member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec (OAQ) or the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ), required PMP certification, an asset Strong knowledge of the construction industry and project management best practices Proficiency in spoken and written French, required Proficiency in spoken and written English, an asset Why choose CIMA+?
