As an SEO Specialist, you own search for B2B and growing-brand clients within Blacksmith Agency’s AI-first digital agency. You guide keyword strategy, content priorities, and visibility across emerging AI search experiences. The full-time role is remote in Canada, South Africa, or the USA, with paid media handled separately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Improve client visibility in Google AI Overviews
- Develop search strategies for ChatGPT and Perplexity
- Lead keyword and on-page optimization priorities
- Coordinate content priorities with writers and AI
- Track ranking stories across organic search
Requirements:
- Three or more years of practical SEO experience
- Hands-on experience completing audits and fixes
- Fluency with Search Console and GA4
- Working knowledge of Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush
- Clear spoken English for live US client calls
