Base pay range CA$35.00/hr - CA$42.00/hr Direct message the job poster from IFG - International Financial Group Accounting & Finance Recruitment Associate Financial Reporting Specialist (6-Month Contract | Downtown Toronto | In-Office) Our client, a well‑known Canadian leader in health and wellness, is seeking a Specialist, Financial Reporting to join their team on a 6‑month contractual basis with the strong possibility of extension or conversion to full‑time. This is an in‑office role (4 days per week) in Downtown Toronto — ideal for a technically strong accounting professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants meaningful exposure to financial reporting and technical IFRS. What You’ll Do Prepare and review IFRS financial statements Support MD&A preparation and narrative analysis Deep dive into complex technical accounting issues (e.g., IFRS 3, 10/11/12, 16) Lead consolidations and supporting schedules Provide audit support and respond to auditor inquiries Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to resolve accounting matters Ensure accuracy and compliance in reporting deliverables What We’re Looking For CPA/CA designation nice to have (Big 6–8 experience preferred) 3+ years of relevant financial reporting experience Strong technical accounting and IFRS knowledge Experience with consolidations, financial reporting, and MD&A Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Ability to work in office 4 days per week (Downtown Toronto) Why You’ll Love This Role Work with a respected brand in the health & wellness space Meaningful technical accounting exposure Contract with potential to extend or convert Collaborative team environment 📩 Interested or know someone who might be a fit?
