We are currently requesting resumes for the following position: Project LeaderResume Due Date: Friday, October 25th, 2024 (5:00PM EST)Job ID: 24-127Number of Vacancies: 4Level: SeniorDuration: 36 monthsHours of work: 40Location: DNGS, Bowmanville, L1C 3Z8 (100% onsite)Job Overview:Manage EPC projects from inception through closeoutManage cost and scheduleManage/administer EPC contractsReview invoices and track purchase orders as per approved budgetProvide Project oversight to EPC vendors to ensure projects meet requirements with respect to budget, schedule, safety, and qualityPerform any required liaising activities between our client and vendor stakeholdersManage risks and mitigation plans, maintain a risk register for assigned projectsDevelop business case summaries to request funds for assigned projectsDevelop monthly forecasts for the project life cycleFulfill Field team Lead and Mod Team Lead role in support of executionInterface with the stationIntegrate work into Online/Outage scheduleQualifications:The candidate should have experience in project management of station modifications in Nuclear Facilities with major emphasis on activities related to installation, commissioning, risk management and cost & schedule managementFour-year university education in Engineering or by having the equivalent level of education/experience, or demonstrated experience in writing installation and commissioning workplansExperience with Nuclear Industry, preferably Nuclear Power PlantExperience in project engineering or MTL/FTL experience in installation and commissioning of modificationsAbility to prepare coordinate estimates, schedules, execution plans, contracting strategies, business planning, forecastingDemonstrated knowledge of Engineer Change Process (change control process not necessarily OPG’s processes)A combination MTL/FTL experience or Project ManagementOur client is dedicated to promoting employment equity and encourages applications from equity-seeking communities including but not limited to: Indigenous Peoples, racialized individuals, persons with disabilities, and women.
