Your Impact The Cloud Application Administrator will be responsible for developing and enhancing automated operations actions for deployment, support, and maintenance activities. You will focus on supporting Cloud Support Operations and applications on OpenText platforms. What The Role Offers Collaborate with teams from Product Development, Professional Services, and Customer Support teams to deploy services/applications. Be an expert on datacenter migration of applications/services, and disaster recovery planning & execution. Work on the implementation review process for bugs, fixes, and issues encountered in active production instances. Actively support production incidents, problems, and root cause analysis. Provide feedback to Engineering and Professional Services teams to make services stable and resilient. Deploy containerized services into PaaS infrastructure. Knowledge of integration points of hosted applications and related implementation expertise for CloudOps. Work with 3rd party vendors and their support organizations for any impact to OT hosted solutions. Ability to prioritize work to ensure timely project deliveries. Available to work on weekends to schedule maintenance activities and deployments. On rotation monthly 24x7 on-call support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Experience with container-based application deployments and DevOps tools. Experience in CD and J2EE, with strong skills in automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc. Advanced level skills in Python and/or shell scripting. Experience supporting Java applications built using frameworks such as Spring, Struts, Spark, etc. Working experience on RedHat and Windows operating systems on physical/VM machines. Desirable Skills Review product design documents to ensure compliance with architecture standards. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes-based deployments. Proficiency in writing scripts (bash, ksh, Perl, PowerShell, Expect, AWK, Python). Expertise in analyzing application container performance, reviewing JVM settings & thread dumps. Developing and maintaining detailed documentation of work. Familiarity with load balancers/F5, firewalls, SMTP, DNS services, and networking protocols.
