Construction Superintendent (Temporary, February 2026 – June 2027) This full‑time temporary role is based in Saskatoon, SK. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing construction activities from preconstruction through closeout. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met. Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects Oversee and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on‑site personnel Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies Conduct site inspections and resolve construction issues promptly Review project plans, specifications, and contracts Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders and senior management Approve invoices, change orders, and material purchases Manage RFIs, change orders, inspections, and punch lists Assist in project estimating and proposal preparation, as required Ensure safety, health and environmental quality standards are being met Perform superintendent duties at multiple job sites simultaneously Help identify areas of work outside the contracted scope Qualifications 5+ years’ experience managing construction projects, contractors and vendors Computer Microsoft Office and company system knowledge (Emburse, OpenInvoice, etc.) Ability to read, review and understand technical drawings and specifications Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel to various job sites as required Planning and organizing – prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and look for ways to meet productivity standards Professionalism – lead by example, treat others with respect and consideration, accept responsibility for own actions and follow through on commitments Quality – demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, and look for ways to improve and promote quality Benefits Competitive industry wages Industry leading safety standards Community investment initiatives (Our Stories) Company Culture We focus on opportunities for growth and improvement for our employees, customers, partners, and the communities we operate in.
