We seek a senior leader in Ontario transit planning with experience leading Transit Project Assessment Process (TPAP) projects and extensive contacts with transit agencies, municipalities, and consulting industry. Reporting to the Vice‑President of Transportation Ontario, you will support growth initiatives in the transit planning market with a focus on TPAP and BRT markets, identifying upcoming projects, defining bid strategies, and leading project delivery. This role can be based in any of our Ontario offices, including Mississauga, Burlington, Bowmanville, London, Kitchener, and Ottawa. Key Responsibilities Strengthen, expand, lead and inspire the team of professionals, technicians and support staff, focusing on transit planning. Develop and implement business development strategies to support growth in Ontario. Define bid strategies and lead proposals elaboration (technical and financial). Lead and manage transit planning projects from light assignments to large, complex multidisciplinary projects. Support large transit projects as a discipline lead when required. Oversee and supervise project teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors. Recruit and build a mobility and transit practice. Mentor junior project managers and staff. Participate in overall business development, marketing initiatives and cross‑business opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from Professional Engineers Ontario. Registered Professional Planner (RPP) from Ontario Professional Planners Institute. Minimum of 10 years of experience in transit planning. In‑depth knowledge of transit systems and the Ontario transit market. Proven experience managing cross‑functional teams and interacting with a wide range of stakeholders in TPAP projects. Strong financial acumen, managing budgets, procurement and contracts. Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and negotiation skills. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, presenting complex information clearly.
