Headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, OpenText helps companies securely capture, govern and exchange information on a global scale.Your ImpactThe HR Learning Specialist supports the delivery and operations of global learning programs, with a focus on compliance, manager development, and onboarding. This role ensures the smooth execution of live and virtual training events, maintains learning systems and content, and provides responsive support to learners and stakeholders across the organization.ResponsibilitiesWork with HR and business stakeholders to coordinate, support and advise on Manager Training Program deliveries, including scheduling, communications, logistics and employee questions.Act as a producer for live virtual training events (e.g., Microsoft Teams Live), managing technical setup and providing real-time support.Help document key processes involved in the delivery and evaluation of L&D programs. This can include creating process maps and written documentation that clearly outline each step, ensuring consistency and efficiency in the team’s operationsCreate, update, and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistent execution of learning activitiesAdd and maintain course content, create classes, and track attendance in the LMSEnsure accuracy and accessibility of learning materials and job aids.Support system-related activities such as user troubleshooting and content updates.Learn the LMS system and serve as a back-up to the Lead LMS Administrator, providing coverage and support during absences or high-volume periods.Assist in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data related to various L&D programs using Excel and LMS-generated reports.Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly reports on key training metrics.Support audit requests related to compliance trainingAssist in the annual compliance training cycle, including content deployment, tracking, and reporting.Track and facilitate completion of new hire compliance training, working with new hires, managers, and AskHR to ensure timely completion.Respond to inquiries from group mailboxes and service management tickets, providing timely and professional support.What You Need To SucceedBachelor’s degreeStrong communication, organizational and analytical skills.Detail oriented with a passion for analytics.Experience using Excel spreadsheets.Self-motivated learner that thrives in fast-paced environment.One Last ThingOpenText is more than a corporation—it’s a global community built on trust, character, and purpose.
