Operations & Strategy Temps plein Montreal, QC 1.1. In this position, you are responsible for the assembly, factory calibration and quality control of medical devices that combines electronic and mechanical parts in a highly regulated environment. 1.2. General responsibilities include Performing the assembly of the different devices in Thorasys’ portfolio; Programming firmware onto the printed circuit boards; Assembling mechanical and electronic components; Performing calibration of pressure and flow transducers; Performing factory calibration of the medical devices; Meticulously documenting each step for traceability per the quality assurance procedures; Operate and maintain the Manufacturing, and Inventory Transfer modules of the ERP system. 1.3. Occasional responsibilities include Prepare and schedule shipments; Assist the technical support group in diagnosing and repairing hardware problems. Training new employees on the manufacturing of Thorasys’ devices portfolio Monitoring stock levels (consumables and Storables) and reporting any parts below the minimum stock quantity to the Supply Chain and Logistics specialist 1.4. As for all THORASYS employees, your position may include a limited amount of administrative duties. 1.5. As for all THORASYS employees, Prioritizing and upholding high standards of security and data privacy in accordance Thorasys procedures and policies. Education required Professional secondary degree or technician (preferred) in electronics or relevant experience Competence required Rigor in following work instructions and procedures. Rigor in documenting work per quality assurance requirements in order to maintain traceability files. Skills in work planning and problem resolution. Good spoken and written English language. Bilingual an asset. Experience required 3-8 years assembling electromechanical devices Experience in a regulated sector (ex: ISO13485) with detailed documentation on all production steps (ie: medical devices, aeronautics, etc.) is an asset Report Unless designated otherwise by the VP Operations you report to the Production Manager of the Company. #J-18808-Ljbffr
