With 160 legal professionals in three offices, our firm serves its clients in over 38 languages.We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Law clerk to join our team (Personal Injury). In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal and administrative assistance to the Team’s lawyers and other staff. You will be expected to use your knowledge of legal practices and procedures to ensure that all work is done accurately and efficiently and in accordance with the firm’s conduct. Responsibilities Manage personal injury cases, including maintaining case files and tracking deadlines. Prepare and submit applications for various accident benefits, including medical, rehabilitation, and income replacement. Collect and analyze medical records, employment records, and other supporting documentation. Aid in drafting Pleadings, Motions, SOCs, etc. Create and maintain various charts such as the Medical Brief Index, and Undertaking Chart etc. Prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, notices and affidavits. Organize and arrange hospital records and clinical notes. Assist in investigating cases, reviewing medical records, and interviewing witnesses. Track and manage legal documents, responses, and deadlines etc. Aid in LAT applications & trial preparation by organizing exhibits, coordinating expert testimony, and preparing trial materials. Ensure compliance with court rules and procedures, including e-filing when applicable. Qualifications 7+ years of relevant experience Knowledge of Rules of Civil procedure. Knowledge of Tort Pleadings, OCF Forms, SABS, & LAT applications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal software Familiarity with case management software and e-filing systems Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently Benefits Extended healthcare and Dental coverage Health spending account On-site parking Bonus Pay You can find more about our benefits on our website.
