Back of House Supervisor – Playdium Location: Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Part‑time Responsibilities Leading kitchen staff to create and prepare menu items in an efficient manner. Supporting the kitchen with ensuring the safe and healthy preparation of meals and sanitation techniques at all times to avoid cross‑contamination and the spoiling of food and beverages. Training and coaching of kitchen employees. Reporting on any repairs or maintenance required for kitchen appliances and equipment. Assisting in completion of all line checks, cleaning duty rotation, and temperature logs. Establishing, implementing and communicating menu recipe requirements. Maintaining an accurate log of food and beverage waste. Ensuring preparation and cooking stations are well stocked. Qualifications Secondary School Diploma. 3–5 years of restaurant kitchen experience. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Post‑secondary education in Culinary Arts or Hospitality (preferred). Experience in a high‑volume food program (preferred). Provincial Smart Serve certification where applicable. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct a team. Benefits Tuition Assistance.
