Feel free to indicate your availability on your application.CO-OP Student, Robotic Process Automation DeveloperKEY JOB ELEMENTSSupport the development of a GDLS Digital Workforce through Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and other automation tools/techniques as required.Convert existing manual and/or repeatable business processes into automated or partially automated solutions.Match an appropriate solution to the business process.Recognize business requirements to determine actionable automation solutionsWork with assigned business analyst and integrate within the existing framework to provide seamless value-added servicesResponsible for the automation development cycle including:Development of automation solutions based on defined user requirements, including risk and error handling protocolsTesting and troubleshootingProduction monitoringSupport design and update of internal communication portal contentREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSWorking towards a university degree/college diploma in Computer Science or related field of studyStrong technical knowledge of automation best practices (ability to code)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailDesire to innovate, continually improve existing process and develop new methodologiesAbility to work with a sense of urgencyAbility to work proactively with a focus on executionPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSDemonstrated experience with RPA utilizing Automation Anywhere (preferred), and potentially other coding including but not limited to Python, C++, C#, JavaScript, HTML, etc.Physical Conditions and HazardsPhysical Environment: OfficeHazards: NAPhysical Demands Description: Usual mobility demands required are standing, walking, sitting, and stair climbing to access upper offices.Equipment UtilizedComputerMedical SurveillanceMay include: Anthropometrical Size Restrictions depending on taskPersonal Protective EquipmentApplicable when interacting with shop floor (safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection. extraction coveralls)General Dynamics Land Systems–Canada is committed to providing all persons with equal opportunity and access to all aspects of the employment process.
