Remote work for individuals in ON and QC (outside of the GTA)
Reporting to the Manager of Compliance Services, you are responsible for being the subject matter expert in payroll compliance and providing exceptional client services and support over the phone and in virtual meetings. Receiving and responding to payroll inquiries
Providing advice on payroll requirements, legislation, processing, and best practices
Escalating complex payroll issues to the Manager as required
Maintaining updated knowledge of best practices in payroll as well as legislation and standards
Reviewing best practices, identifying areas of concern, and advising on process improvements
Communicating on various platforms regarding payroll legislation across Canada
Managing multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency
Planning and facilitating payroll training

Fluency in English & French, at a native or bilingual level, required
Sound experience as a payroll professional managing payroll processing
Working knowledge of payroll and employment standards as well as payroll legislation
