You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Leads the development of the trade marketing part of the category annual plans (contract process)
  • Understands market dynamics / consumer insights by channel to participate on trade marketing strategic decisions
  • Leads the business planning meeting where the sales quotas are built in order to accomplish the annual plans based on relevant building blocks
  • Suggests and influences investment in category building blocks, according to category and channel need, and is accountable of execution excellence at point of sale
  • Follows up the competition’s commercial activity in the category in order to detect business opportunities and potential threats for the brand
  • Plays a leadership role within the multi categories teams by leading, providing accurate and relevant channel point of sale information that will lead to find business opportunities such as innovations, customer promotions, portfolio, pricing, etc. that will lead to achieve multi categories targets

Key Accountabilities:

  • Customer Management. Assist the Director of Key Accounts with revenue planning, forecasting, process and reporting
  • Responsible for leading the CBT annual planning process and long term planning
  • Responsible, as Customer Business Team key contact, to support the Category Development Managers by informing the Key Account Managers on category updates and by providing back accounts and/or team decisions
  • Support innovation, and Scale event planning and execution for the CBT by informing on key insights, align investment/ resources and the collection and dissemination of account execution details (CBT volume, displays, flyer recap) • CBT Support and Strategy
  • Assist in the development of the strategy and the design on customer JBP’s • Develop and manage Powerful Customer Partnerships for the CBT through a consistent approach to scorecards, business reviews and governance
  • Lead the Opportunities and Risk management for the team • Capability Development
  • Lead the Account Planning Manager team to drive consistency and optimization of revenue planning and forecasting

Job specific requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years’ prior experience multiple regional and national customer facing roles - Consumer Packaged Goods is preferred.
  • Four Year Bachelor's Degree, MBA or other designation an asset
  • Excellent strategic leadership skills Ability to lead and inspire others while clearly setting direction
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Previous experience leading a key customer cross functional team
  • Understanding of multiple customers GTM strategies, structure and business practices Cross functional experience in customer planning, customer insights, retail, marketing, and/or supply chain
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • 10% of work schedule
  • Regular business hours M-F (Hybrid)
