OverviewJoin to apply for the Pediatrician role at Vancouver Coastal Health. We are seeking a Temporary Community Hospital Pediatrician for a 0.5 FTE position at Lions Gate Hospital. The successful candidate will cover the pediatric ward, attend high-risk and primary care OB deliveries, perform postpartum rounding, manage admissions to the Level 2 nursery (32 weeks and above), handle ER consults and urgent outpatient ward consults, and run a hospital-based clinic (rapid access clinic, with an option for an asthma clinic).ResponsibilitiesCover pediatric ward; attend high-risk and primary care OB deliveries; perform postpartum rounding.Manage admissions to Level 2 nursery (32 weeks and above).Handle ER consults and urgent outpatient ward consults.Run a hospital-based clinic (rapid access clinic; option for an asthma clinic).Community clinic coverage ideally 3 days per month (not required but encouraged).Education, Licensing, & ExperienceCurrent College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) - FullCanadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) - MandatoryFellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) - DesiredPediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL)Neonatal Resuscitation Program - RequiredInterested in applying?
