The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting data collection and analysis, surveying, field reviews during construction, and design / drafting assistance in our Civil Engineering group, along with some support work with our multi-disciplinary projects. The successful candidate will receive a very broad range of experiences by supporting more than one team.Your Key ResponsibilitiesFulfilling health and safety requirementsProviding logistical support for reporting and field workField work to observe constructionDesign and drafting for water, wastewater and transportation infrastructure projectsQualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsRequires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit, AutoCAD; Prefer experience with Adobe Eager to learn with a desire to take initiativeStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to prioritize multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects and adjust to changing demandsAbility to work in a team environmentAdaptability, organization, critical thinking, self-motivation, a keen willingness to learn, a love of the outdoors, wilderness and travel experience, attention to detail, succinct writing ability, and ability to multitaskFlexibility to travel and work beyond regular business hoursA clean graduated driver’s license (or equivalent) is requiredAdditional skills such as current First Aid training is an asset but is not requiredEducation and ExperienceThe successful candidate must be currently enrolled in an accredited university degree program in Civil or Environmental Engineering and be available to work starting in May 2025 for a 4-month, 8-month, or 16-month work term.Please indicate in your cover letter your term length availability.Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
