Overview At KPMG, you’ll join a team of diverse and dedicated problem solvers, connected by a common cause turning insight into opportunity for clients and communities around the world. As a Manager in our Governance, Risk and Compliance Services (GRCS) team within Advisory Risk Services, you will be responsible for leading internal audit engagements for clients across both the private and public sector including Crown corporations and regulated industries. In this role, you will help deliver high-quality services that support clients in strengthening governance, internal audit, managing risk, and improving performance. What You Will Do Lead the planning, execution and reporting of various GRCS engagements with a focus on internal audit and enterprise risk management Manage projects to meet client expectations, timelines and quality standards Conduct risk assessments and develop tailored audit plans Oversee fieldwork and testing activities with a focus on value and insight Review and finalize audit reports and presentations for senior stakeholders Support and coach team members to build skills and confidence Foster strong client relationships and contribute to engagement success Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions What You Bring To The Role Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field 6 to 8 years of experience in internal audit, risk or compliance Demonstrated ability to lead internal audit engagements Experience working across industries and sectors, including private, public and/or regulated organizations Strong understanding of governance and accountability frameworks Professional designation such as CPA, CIA or CRMA Clear and confident communication and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment Providing you with the support you need to be at your best Our Values, The KPMG Way Integrity, we do what is right | Excellence, we never stop learning and improving | Courage, we think and act boldly | Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | For Better, we do what matters KPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential.
