Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Sessional Lecturer - FSL 102H1S Elementary French II The Department of French seeks a Sessional Lecturer for the following course: FSL102H1S - Elementary French II An intensive basic course in spoken and written French for students who have studied some French, but who have not yet attained the entry level for FSL120H1. Minimum Qualifications PhD in French literature/linguistics or in a relevant field. Experience in teaching language courses at the university level. Strong expertise in course outlines, planning, and preparation of lecture materials. Fluency in French and English. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching this specific course. Extensive knowledge of the use of Quercus, specifically test manager and communication tools. Duties Teaching a language course Preparation of lectures and related course materials, contact hours, marking of assignments and tests, final exams/assessments if applicable, meeting with course coordinator. Availability for in-person meetings and office hours on STG campus for the duration of the contract. Duties of this position shall be performed at the campus on which the position is located. Where the duties are intended to be performed at another location, such other location will be specified in the posting. Final availability of the position(s) is contingent upon enrolment, budgetary consideration and the determination of appointments as governed by the collective agreement.
