Job Type:Full Time, PermanentCompensation:Commensurate with experienceCompany BenefitsAbt the Company:Our client sources and processes recycled ferrous and non-ferrous metals across North America in order to ensure they do not end up in a landfill or go to waste.They are expanding at a rapid rate and are seeking to add a Forklift Technician to their dynamic teamResponsibilities:Repair and maintain various types of forklift trucksTest forklift trucks to ensure repairs are completed correctlyInstall, remove and/or repair attachments and accessories such as clamps, side shifters,push/pulls, lights and audible devices as requiredTroubleshoot, diagnose and repair batteries and chargers as neededLiaise with other technicians and team membersOther duties assignedRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent required1-2 years’ experience as a forklift technician or auto mechanicCompletion of forklift truck mechanics training course is considered an assetAbility to use hand and power tools to repair forklift vehiclesAbility to read repair manuals for various types of forklift vehicleAbility to lift and carry 50lbs +Reliable transportationAble to work the morning shift or afternoon shiftAll applicants please forwar your resume to be considered.
