For more details about our array of services, visit our website. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Controller located in St. Albert, AB. The Controller will oversee financial operations, including budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis. They will manage accounts payable and receivable processes, as well as ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. The role involves preparing comprehensive financial reports, leading financial audits, and collaborating with other departments to drive sustainable financial practices and strategies for the organization. Qualifications Proficiency in financial planning, reporting, and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial compliance, and regulatory standards; CPA designation or equivalent is an asset. Experience with accounts payable, receivable processes, and financial operations management tools/software. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in communication and collaboration, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software systems. Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment and tackle complex financial challenges. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
