Responsibilities Lead comprehensive evaluations and implement targeted interventions that promote independence in daily activities. Conduct initial screenings, detailed goal setting, evidence‑based treatment planning, and ongoing progress documentation. Design adaptive strategies and select assistive devices to enhance function, safety, and participation in activities such as self‑care, community mobility, leisure, and work‑related tasks. Coordinate with occupational, physical, and speech‑language colleagues, nursing staff, and family members to ensure seamless transitions across inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. Educate patients and caregivers on home modification, energy conservation techniques, and compensatory strategies, while championing fall prevention and safety training. Engage in discharge planning, outcome measurement, and continuous quality improvement, ensuring care is both person‑centered and outcome‑driven. Collaborate with coding and billing teams to ensure accurate documentation and appropriate reimbursement for services. Participate in community outreach initiatives, wellness education seminars, and program development activities designed to expand access to occupational therapy in underserved settings. This position supports professional growth through mentorship, access to continuing education, and opportunities to deepen specialization within pediatrics, geriatrics, neurorehabilitation, or hand therapy. The overall package features a sign‑on bonus, housing assistance, and extension opportunities, with the security of guaranteed 40 hours per week and weekly pay between $2,073 and $2,207.
