Position Title : Senior Python DeveloperLocation : Vancouver / Toronto, ON – remote or onsiteMode : ContractSeeking a skilled Python developer to write, test, and maintain scalable and efficient Python code for [specific software / products, e.g., web applications, data pipelines, automation tools].Key ResponsibilitiesWrite clean, reusable, and efficient Python code.Develop and maintain server-side logic for web applications and other software.Connect applications with front‑end components and external web services/APIs.Design and implement data storage solutions and manage data exchange between servers and users.Implement security and data protection measures.Write unit tests, debug programs, and improve the functionality of existing systems.Work with cross‑functional teams (designers, product managers) to meet business requirements and user needs.Optimize application performance, efficiency, and scalability.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong command of Python and its core features.Experience with Python web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask) and asynchronous frameworks (e.g., Asyncio).Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and data manipulation.Proficiency with version control systems like Git.Knowledge of Python testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, unittest).Excellent analytical, debugging, and critical‑thinking skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
