Senior Strategic Alliance & Partnerships Manager Affirm—Greater St. John's Metropolitan Area Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without hidden fees or compounding interest. As a Senior Strategic Alliances & Partnerships Manager, you will drive revenue, GMV, and user growth by building and leading strategic partnerships with our largest merchants. This high‑profile, partner‑facing role requires exceptional relationship management and strategic planning skills. Responsibilities Own and lead the strategic partnership with a large partner, overseeing the overall relationship, business performance, and long‑term strategy across multiple business units. Define and drive the strategic vision for the partnership, aligning joint priorities with Affir’s broader ecosystem goals and influencing senior stakeholders on both sides. Develop and execute multi‑year growth roadmaps, including new product integrations, co‑marketing strategies, and go‑to‑market expansions that drive significant GMV, revenue, and user acquisition. Analyze partner performance and recommend programs to increase product adoption, grow up‑funnel awareness and visibility, and sell into expansion opportunities. Orchestrate cross‑functional teams across Product, Technical, Credit, Analytics, Marketing, and Risk to execute partnership initiatives and drive business results. Pitch affirmative solutions to new lines of business and own the strategic roadmap to highlight the value of Affir and establish an integration path. Qualifications 10+ years of B2B client‑facing experience; preferably in a high‑tech environment. Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to lead and grow complex, strategic partnerships at the executive level. Experience driving and managing cross‑functional, multi‑stakeholder initiatives with high attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to influence senior stakeholders and executive audiences. Excellent analytical abilities to review merchant performance and report on the impact of specific programs to internal and external stakeholders. Experience structuring, negotiating, and closing large‑scale commercial contracts (e.g., RFPs, renewals, multi‑year agreements). Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, take initiative, and go beyond defined responsibilities to ensure project and team success. Skill in crafting compelling value propositions, delivering persuasive presentations, and driving engagement with stakeholders. Knowledge of consumer finance offerings, SaaS solutions and e‑commerce preferred. Comfortable using Salesforce and BI tools. Compensation Pay Grade: LEquity Grade: 6Employees new to Affir typically come in at the start of the pay range. The OTE range is $187,500 – $210,000 per year. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits. Remote Affir is a remote‑first company. The majority of roles can be performed anywhere within the country of employment. Occasional office presence may be required for proximal roles.
