Clinical Nurse – Inpatient Withdrawal Unit (Perth) Overview Permanent full‑time and part‑time (FTE) opportunity within the East Metropolitan Health Service, providing advanced, evidence‑based AOD/withdrawal nursing care in a culturally secure multidiscipline team. Responsibilities3> Deliver comprehensive AOD/withdrawal nursing care to patients admitted to the Inpatient Withdrawal Unit. Lead and model clinical practice, supporting team building, change management, and quality improvement. Maintain 24/7 flexible shift coverage, autonomously managing after‑hour shifts and collaborating with on‑call doctors and managers. Uphold professional standards, including the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in drug and alcohol treatment inpatient ward services. Demonstrated leadership consistent with organisational values and behaviours. Ability to work independently during after‑hour shifts and liaise appropriately with on‑call personnel. Commitment to work 24/7 fully flexible shift work as per the IPWU roster.
