The Role Are you ready to lead the charge in transforming data into actionable insights that drive our e-commerce success? As the Manager, Analytics - eCommerce, you'll be at the forefront of our data-driven strategy, leading a dynamic team and playing a pivotal role in our leadership team. Your mission: make data the cornerstone of everything we do. Reporting to the Senior Director, Analytics and AI, you are responsible for analyzing Cymax market share, identifying areas of opportunities, success factors and potential barriers. This role is responsible for developing insights, optimizing and driving data-informed decision-making across marketing, merchandising, and product teams. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of eCommerce metrics, strong technical skills in data analysis, and proven leadership experience. This is a hybrid role, based in the Vancouver, BC area. What You’ll Do Provide timely insights to the senior leadership team on business performance, overall market competitiveness, category trends, and margin enhancements Lead a team of analysts to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations for eCommerce performance. Use a variety of data sources (internal and external) to analyze and identify growth opportunities across vendors, categories, competitors and markets Provide clarity and actionable insights based on analysis of ecommerce data and trends that can be used by senior management in decision making Promote a data-driven culture across departments through training, collaboration, and leadership. Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to leverage new tools and techniques. Utilize statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large datasets. Continuously evaluate and improve analytics processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Advocate for the adoption of new methodologies and technologies that drive business value. Who You Are 6+ years of experiencein data analytics, with demonstrated success in leading analytics teams or projects. Expertise in SQLand experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server or similar RDBMS environments). Proficiency in data visualization tools, preferably Power BI, with a strong grasp of data visualization principles. Solid foundation in statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Experience in eCommerce analyticsis a strong asset, including areas such as conversion optimization, marketplace performance, marketing analytics, and web-based product analytics. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences and senior leadership. Ability to identify business and financial implicationsof data insights and make strategic recommendations. Knowledge of machine learning and statistical fundamentals, with practical application in business contexts. Post-secondary educationin Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field is preferred. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.
