Mining Process Engineer in Training Vancouver, BC, Canada | req2655 | Posted on: 1/12/2026 Your future role on our team We are currently seeking junior process engineers to join our mining team in Vancouver and to provide high‑quality consulting services to clients in the mineral processing and extractive metallurgy industries. This role is ideal for an individual with 2‑5 years of experience working for a mining company or consulting firm, and new graduates with relevant internships are also welcome to apply. The opportunity allows the right candidate to work with our Vancouver team and other teams across the country, gaining access to a network of expertise focused on operational excellence. With us, you’ll get the opportunity to… Work with a team of skilled engineers, designers and project support staff under the supervision of a senior engineer Review or analyze PFDs, P&IDs, technical specifications and evaluations; design and configure process parameters Develop process heat and material balances using simulation software such as Bilmat, METSIM or HSC Chemistry, as well as comminution equipment simulation with Bruno and JKSimMet Participate in the selection, sizing and costing of process equipment for new technology implementation Provide support for the preparation of proposals, studies and technical evaluation reports Do your qualities and values match our corporate culture?
