In the Surveillance Shift Manager role, you will ensure the integrity of gaming operations are protected, will lead and work with the surveillance team, and use your natural attention to detail to identify, investigate, and report suspicious activity, unusual play or deviations from internal controls. Work well with computers, Microsoft Office software, and digital recording and monitoring equipment. Supervises and manages team performance while participating in surveillance activities. Trains, coaches and provides corrective feedback and recognition of individual/team accomplishments.Communicates with surveillance staff and management regarding investigations, and current issues. Maintains knowledge of BCLC/AGLC, GPEB Policy and Procedure, FOIPPA and FinTrac. Initiates and conducts investigations and provides timely reports. What You Bring Two years? experience as a Surveillance Operator. Post‑secondary degree, diploma or certificate in a related field is an asset. Thorough knowledge of Gateway, BCLC/AGLC and GPEB policies pertinent to casino and surveillance operations. Working knowledge of Criminal Code of Canada, computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software. Ability to work in a dimmed, enclosed and controlled room, working in close proximity to colleagues. Capacity to sit for long periods of time.
