Follow us on Twitter @BWXT and learn more atwww.bwxt.com.We are currently seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team in Cambridge, ON.This role supports Field Services projects by ensuring compliance with BWXT's quality program and performing independent quality inspections. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in technically demanding environments, including radiological and confined spaces.Key Responsibilities:Perform quality control inspections in accordance with project procedures and the ASME Code.Conduct material receipt and in-process inspections.Complete and review Work Packages/History Dockets.Assist with procedure and MITP reviews.Perform NDE duties where applicable.Carry out vendor source inspections as required.Qualifications:Post-secondary diploma in NDE/Quality Technology or related field.3+years of relevant industry experience.CGSB Level II Certification in Liquid Penetrant (PT) is a definite asset .Additional CGSB Level II or CWB certifications are assets.Strong knowledge of NDE methods and the ASME Code.Comfortable with extensive travel (approx. 70%) and working irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.Comfortable working in confined space situations.Comfortable working in a radiologicalenvironment with required personal protective equipment.Security Clearance:This role requires the successful candidate to complete the security clearance process.
