The Opportunity Join our dynamic Earth & Environment team as a Junior Groundwater Modeller and contribute to impactful environmental projects across Canada. You’ll apply your hydrogeological expertise to support groundwater assessments, contaminant transport modelling, and sustainable water resource management. What You Can Expect To Do Here You’ll support groundwater modelling projects using tools such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere or similar software. You’ll assist in the development of conceptual and numerical models for groundwater flow and contaminant transport. You’ll collaborate with hydrogeologists, geochemists, and environmental engineers on multidisciplinary projects. You’ll analyze and interpret hydrogeological data to inform model calibration and validation. You’ll contribute to technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies. You’ll participate in field programs including groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and site characterization. What You’ll Bring To WSP A degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Geoscience, or a related field. Familiarity with groundwater modelling software such as MODFLOW, FEFLOW, HydroGeoSphere, Leapfrog Works or equivalent. Familiarity with ArcGIS, Surfer, ParaView, and Tecplot is an asset. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Eligibility for professional registration (e.g., P.Geo., EIT) is an asset. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for fieldwork. Why Choose WSP?
