We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.Senior Product DesignerWe are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our growing Product Design team. This hybrid role is open to candidates located near one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto) and requires working in the office a minimum of twice per week on our designated Anchor Days.What your team doesDesign plays an integral role at Clio, making up one of the three pillars of our Research and Development organization alongside Product Management and Engineering.Product designers directly engage in researching the behaviors and needs of our users and act as user experience champions.The Roles and Permissions Team is working on an entirely new access control system that works for small firms and scales up for larger, mid‑market firms.Roles and Permissions is part of the larger Platform team with opportunities to work with other designers on centralized tools and product frameworks.What you'll work onDevelop and design concepts, prototypes, hi‑fidelity mockups, and present solutions that solve both business and user problems with measurable outcomes.Craft a compelling vision with engaging storytelling to drive excitement and alignment.Advocate for our customers and know their needs inside out.Coach and mentor fellow designers on a range of design practices and provide thoughtful feedback in team critiques.Write research plans and conduct user research interviews, usability testing, and analysis.Leverage product data and metrics to drive design decisions and measure product success.What you bringExcellent communication and engaging storytelling skills.5+ years experience in Product Design, UX Design, or related discipline (SaaS experience is a bonus).A keen interest in improving your craft by using AI.A track record of successfully shipping products, solving customer problems, and moving company metrics.Deep understanding of good user experience, IA, and visual design.Experience with modern design tools (Figma, Figma Make) and willingness to adopt new tools as needed.Strong understanding of web technologies.A design degree or relevant experience with platform and/or application design.Benefits and compensationCompetitive, equitable salary with total pay range $128,400 to $173,600 CAD plus regional adjustments.Hybrid work environment with local Clio teams expected to work in office min. twice per week.Flexible time off policy with encouraged 20 days off per year.$2,000 annual counseling benefit.RRSP matching and RESP contribution.Clioversary recognition program with special acknowledgement at 3, 5, 7, and 10 years.Diversity, Inclusion, and AccessibilityWe are dedicated to diversity, equity, and inclusion and build an environment where teams feel included, valued, and enabled.
