Position Overview: Financial Advisor/Planner – Growth and Equity Partnership Opportunity

Capital Markets Advisors (CMA) is boutique Consultancy & Recruiting firm specializing in the Financial Services sector, we are representing a distinguished wealth management firm that is seeking to expand their dynamic team.

Our client, a growing female-led financial advisory firm based in Western Canada, is seeking a dynamic and driven individual or Team(s) to join their growing firm. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a firm that not only values client relationships but also offers a clear path to partnership or smooth transition.

Ideal advisors for conversations:

Junior/ Associate Advisor/ Planner – Wealth & Insurance

Tax Focus Financial Planner – Insurance focus w/ wealth

Succession Planning Opportunity – Wealth focus w/ Insurance (Asset sale or share sale options available.)

Key Area of Focus:

Provide comprehensive financial advisory services with a focus on tax preparation and tax planning.

Create and update long-term financial strategies and plans.

Actively manage and rebalance client portfolios in alignment with their financial goals.

Maintain compliance with industry standards and fulfill all regulatory requirements.

Engage as a speaker at seminars and community events to promote financial literacy and expand the firm’s presence.

Wants a qualified succession plan with a high degree of client care

Experience:

Active and in good standing CIRO license (Funds and/or Securities licensed).

A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation with a proven track record in managing a book of business of $20M+.

10+ years’ experience in insurance and a demonstrated ability to generate new insurance business. (Associate)CPA designation or CFP designation (Canada) is an asset.

Strong corporate and personal tax knowledge, with the ability to produce and present Know Your Product (KYP) information to clients.

Experience in proactive planning and problem-solving, with a focus on high-net-worth clients.
