Overview Rame and Rivers Benefice is passionate about meeting people where they are to share the Good News of Jesus Christ through welcome, hospitality, and friendship. We believe that growing and developing our discipleship is at the core of enabling us to do meaningful outreach in our context. We are seeking a prayerful, committed, proactive and collaborative leader who can help us to grow together and reach out to those around us. Our shared vision for the Rame and Rivers Benefice is to share the Gospel of Jesus in an accessible and relevant way. With a plan approved by the deanery synod in June 2022 the deanery has been upon an exciting journey of implementation that is about the flourishing of churches and communities and about seeking the Kingdom of God in and for south east Cornwall. Oversight Minister Role The role of Oversight Minister for this cluster of parishes builds on the newly established single benefice and continues a new approach to ministry; one that takes seriously the wealth of gifts and talents among the congregations and finds ways of serving better our communities across the traditional parish boundaries. This role is an essential element of the deanery plan, and the successful candidate must be committed to following the vision and supporting discipleship enabling us to: Present the Gospel in a way that brings people to faith Develop faith and help people to grow in their discipleship Identify, support and encourage mature and fruitful leaders.
