Support patients across Canada as a Patient Care Coordinator in Mississauga, using empathetic communication and careful call triage. This full-time position is home-based.
At Shoppers Drug Mart, you will serve as a first contact for patients, caregivers, physicians, clinics, pharmacies, and consumers. The role supports Specialty Health Network through inbound inquiries, patient documentation, data integrity, and coordinated services. Professional English, confidentiality, and accurate communication are essential throughout each treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to patient, pharmacy, and clinic calls within service levels
- Triage inquiries to appropriate team members
- Index documents and create patient files as needed
- Monitor reports and files for data integrity
- Coordinate services, deliveries, coverage, and patient follow-up
Requirements:
- Minimum two-year call center experience
- Healthcare or insurance experience is an asset
- Professional English communication, written and spoken
- Strong Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Word skills
- Flexibility for rotating Monday-to-Friday shifts and overtime
