Salary: $85K – 115K annually

OnActuate is a global information technology and consulting firm and Dayforce partner. To support our growing HCM function, we are seeking a senior HR/payroll consultant with strong solution implementation and project management experience. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and our solution partners to define HR requirements in their businesses and ensure that OnActuate solutions are implemented effectively.

Our ideal candidate is experienced in HR and Payroll implementation and has acted in a Project Manager capacity. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with clients to bring the value of Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to their organizations and be at the forefront of Human Resource Capital Management (HCM).

This is a client-facing role that will require occasional travel to client sites as well as in support of business development activities and at industry events.

Essential to this role is the ability to work in partnership with our partners, clients, and technical team, to plan and execute successful HCM solution implementations. If you have excellent communication and coordination skills, and enjoy collaborating with a team, then we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities:
Play a lead functional and/or project management role in HCM and Payroll implementation work which will include partner led and/or staffed projects
Working directly with our customers to understand their needs and create collaborative solutions
Work with our internal teams to enhance current delivery procedures
Work with our internal sales, technical, and delivery teams to deliver on client implementation goals
Assist marketing with interviewing customers and work with internal stakeholders to bring together multiple perspectives to record customer success stories
Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring the project to a successful live status
Technical and functional requirements gathering
Provide ongoing client support and training
Show alignment with OnActuate's core values
Travel as required

Experience & Qualifications
Dayforce experience is preferred, although other HCM and HR and payroll platforms are an asset
Bachelor's degree, certificate, and/or 10 years of applicable experience, preferred (HR, payroll, or general business)
PMP certification is desirable
In-depth knowledge of HR and Payroll functions in the public sector
Experience with one or more of the following applications are an asset: SAP, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Kronos, Workbrain/Infor, RedPrairie/JDA, Ultimate, Oracle HR/Payroll, Workday, ADP
Experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment including experience with HCM/HRIS Systems
Ability to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage priorities
Excellent organization, communication and collaboration skills
Ability to lead and facilitate customer workshops and sessions
Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
