Project Leader, Acoustics and Vibrations Location: Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada Employment Type: Full‑time Seniority Level: Director Job Function: Design, Consulting, and Engineering Industries: Renewable Energy, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Mining The Project Leader, Acoustics and Vibrations will play an active role in every stage of acoustics and vibration projects, from building strong client relationships to implementing proposed solutions and performing field measurements. Responsibilities Work with the team on environmental and multidisciplinary projects. Carry out noise and vibration impact and compliance studies for industrial and environmental projects. Travel to project sites and perform vibration studies (structural, environmental or mechanical) and noise studies (industrial hygiene or environmental). Prepare, draft and produce study reports. Prepare proposals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. At least two years of relevant experience. Ability to work in partnership with all other disciplines within the organization. Knowledge of software such as SoundPLAN and CadnaA, EASE/ODEON, MATLAB and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of Ministerial Instruction Note 98‑01. Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients located in English‑speaking Canadian provinces and abroad. Advanced French skills to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients within Québec. Asset: practical knowledge of various acoustic and vibration metering equipment.
