Duties
and Responsibilities:· Perform electrical service work including troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems in residential and commercial environments.· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts and installations.· Install, maintain, and test electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, controls, and communication systems.· Work independently to complete service calls in a timely and professional manner.· Participate in emergency on-call rotation for residential and commercial service needs.· Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time on site.· Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.· Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and project managers regarding work performed and potential issues.· Drive a company vehicle to various job sites as assigned.· Represent the company with professionalism and reliability in all interactions.
Qualifications
· Electrician trade certification.· Minimum 5 years of electrical experience.· Strong background in electrical service work across both residential and commercial settings.· Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.· Strong communication skills and command of the English language.· Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract (required upon hiring).· Must be bondable and able to provide references upon request.
