Marie, ON, the Project Engineer will report to the Project Manager and will have a wide range of duties. You will be part of a team that provides solutions over a diverse range of engineering, including Municipal, Transportation, Environmental, Drainage and Hydrology, Land Development, and Utility Scale Renewable Energy Facilities.What You’ll DoAs part of the TULLOCH Engineering team, you will:Work in a fast-paced and challenging environment on a variety of civil engineering projectsPerform pre-engineering inspections and surveysPrepare and review technical deliverables including reports, technical notes, drawings, specifications, and engineering calculationsPrepare proposals, supporting documents, and permit applicationsDesign and assess infrastructure works relating to stormwater management, drainage and hydrology, wastewater conveyance, potable water distribution, earthworks, transportation and other supporting areasPrepare Site Plans including site services, grading, drainage, and stormwater management plansDesign on-site sewage disposal systems and private water suppliesDesign Subdivision developments – draft plans of subdivision, site servicing, grading, drainage, and preparation of subdivision agreementsPrepare and review project cost estimates and bid documentation and perform bid evaluationsPerform on site technical reviews of construction worksAssist with project management and construction administrationLiaise with clients, build client relations, and advance business developmentThis job description is not meant to be an all-inclusive statement of every duty and responsibility that will ever be required of an employee in the job.Who You AreYou have a valid P.Eng. licence in OntarioYou have 5+ years of experience in a civil engineering roleYou have robust knowledge in stormwater management, municipal servicing, and water resources engineeringYou have experience completing the Municipal Class EA Planning processYou have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, guidelines, and standardsYou can exercise independent judgment within defined parameters and in alignment with business objectivesYou have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and technical modelling softwareYou are willing to travel periodically as neededYou are trusted with the freedom to work independently while contributing to the overall team successWhat You Should BringThe ideal candidate will have a university degree in Civil Engineering or a related program.
