Palliative Medicine Physician - Community - Maple Ridge - Ridge Meadows Hospital Our team is looking for a compassionate full‑time Palliative Care Physician (1.0 FTE) to provide Most Responsible Provider (MRP) coverage at McKenney Creek Hospice and consultation services to acute care and community‑based patients throughout the Fraser Health Authority. Job Summary We offer integrated, regional, comprehensive palliative care services, including 30 Palliative Complex Care Unit beds, care in 12 acute care sites, community support, and 126 hospice beds. The role also involves undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in affiliation with the Division of Palliative Care at the University of British Columbia. Qualifications Eligibility for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. Certification from the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Preference for candidates with additional Palliative Medicine training: One‑year enhanced skills residency and the Certificate of Added Competence (CAC). Two‑year Royal College subspecialty in Palliative Medicine. Facility Ridge Meadows Hospital – a community hospital with 172 acute care beds and a spectrum of services including emergency, ambulatory care, surgery, internal medicine, critical care, and a medical laboratory. Compensation Alternate Payment Plan, potential relocation reimbursement up to $10,000, and MOCAP – On‑Call Payments.
