Senior Commercial Account Manager – Chatham We are looking for a Senior Commercial Account Manager who will leverage their interpersonal strengths and network to generate new business opportunities while managing a portfolio of existing clients. Your main objective is to have an impact on the success of entrepreneurs with sales between $3M and $50M through our financing solutions and advisory services. Responsibilities Meet with entrepreneurs to understand their business needs and challenges to provide advice and, if applicable, a BDC service offering to support their growth. Execute your action plan, aligned with the Business Centre's objectives, to ensure the growth and retention of current clients in your portfolio while acquiring new clients and creating a business opportunity pipeline. Review, negotiate and present financing proposals while exercising credit judgement. Be present in the local business community by networking within your existing network of Centers of Influence (COI) to develop business relationships and obtain references that will facilitate new client acquisition. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration. 4–6 years of relevant experience in commercial banking/finance with a strong understanding of the business world. Strong financial acumen and experience with analyzing financial statements. Demonstrated ability in business development and delivering on set targets. Excellent customer service and advisory skills with a reputation for providing effective solutions. Team player who creates lasting and trusting relationships with peers, business contacts and external partners. Strong negotiation skills focused on results. Bilingualism in French is an asset. A valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle are required.
