The Radiation Therapist I reports to the Provincial Leader or Site Manager of Radiation Therapy with daily work functions supervised by a Radiation Therapist II. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy Certification: Basic Life Saver (BLS)-C Membership: Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (SAMRT) Membership: Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) EXPERIENCE No previous experience SKILLS Proficiency with a variety of computer systems and software applications. Ability to perform a range of Radiation Therapy methods and processes including treatment planning, simulation and treatment. Moderate judgment and problem solving skills required to select the most appropriate action from a variety of alternatives. Ability to interpret detailed information and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Human relations skills required to develop formal relationships of a therapeutic nature to assist others in achieving their short or long term goals.
