About the job Senior Network Consultant - BilingualSoftware International (SI) supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US.We are currently looking for a Network Consultant - Bilingual for our client, a global leader in the IT infrastructure consulting and management industry.Location: Remote , Montreal, QCEmployment Type: 6 months to start but this is a Indefinite, longterm contractRequired Start Date: ASAPTotal Hours Approved Per Role: 40h/weekRate/Salary: $70 - 80 /hr - based on overall experienceSummaryAs a Network Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our clients in implementing, maintaining, and optimizing their network infrastructure. This is a contract position, and you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for clients, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment.Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.Monitor network performance and security, and take proactive measures to ensure the stability and reliability of the network.Collaborate with clients and other team members to understand their business needs and provide customized solutions.Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and trends to continuously improve our services and offerings.Required skills & experience10+ years of related experience in network consulting, administration or supportHigh level of expertise with the below technologyNetworkAWS Network Construct: Transit Gateway, VPC, DirectConnect, Gateway Load-Balancer, Internet Gateway, EC2 #J-18808-Ljbffr
