As M Moser Associates Intern, you are someone who is eager to learn, thinks out of the box to come up with creative new solutions to design problems and who can communicate and execute these ideas through various visual platforms. Our Interns thrive in a team environment and will receive natural mentorship through various team members. We are looking for people with an eagerness to learn and a drive to take initiative. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working directly with our project teams on assigned project work, manage time and workload that occurs with peaks and valleys of projects, check-in with project leadership regularly
  • Brainstorm with team to generate new solutions to client problems
  • Concept development
  • Creating renderings and presentations using various design tools including Revit, AutoCad, SketchUp, etc
  • Assist with drafting, Project permitting, construction administration including reviewing submittals and visiting project sites during construction
  • Site visits and walk throughs
  • Selection and consideration of building materials, finishes etc.
  • Enhance and establish an awareness of trends and developments in design, materials, techniques and technology, through the sharing of your learnings and insights with team members
  • Build relationships and schedule presentations with Product and Material Representatives
  • Be an ambassador of M Moser’s values, promoting innovation and change

Qualifications and Key Competencies:

  • Completed or actively working towards Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture or related
  • Must be in the final year of school
  • Must be able to work 4 days a week in office
  • Ability/willingness to relocation to one of our locations.
  • No longer than 6 months term.
  • Knowledge of various design and general tools including but not limited to SketchUp, Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
