We are looking for someone who is eager to take on challenges and ready to become part of a dynamic and rapidly growing team. CIMA+ is a well-established multidisciplinary company operating on the Canadian national market. We are currently carrying out several projects related to mobility and public transportation systems, including both urban bus transit and rail transportation.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with engineers and professionals on large-scale projects related to SAEIV and mobility systems;Support clients in the design and implementation of mobility systemsContribute to the production of system design deliverables, including:Functional and technical specification documentsTechnical descriptions of onboard SAEIV equipment and cabling requirementsInterface specifications with other systems, for example: Fare collection systems, Passenger information systems, Wireless telecommunications, Video surveillance systems;System layout and deployment diagramsConduct field surveys to gain a thorough understanding of existing constraints prior to the implementation of the proposed systemsUnderstand client needs, analyze problems, and translate them into technical solutionsPrepare quantity take-offs and cost estimatesApply quality control procedures and ensure that drawings and deliverables meet project requirements, in accordance with established practices and standardsMonitor and oversee electrotechnical work related to the systemsCoordinate electrotechnical work with other related engineering disciplines, such as energy, civil, control and protection, building engineering, and architectureMonitor technological developments, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware solutions tailored to client needsQualificationsCollege diploma (DEC) with a specialization in electrotechnics or telecommunications. Any relevant profile will be consideredMinimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in mobility system electrotechnics, telecommunications, or a closely related interdisciplinary fieldExperience or strong interest in consultingExperience with design softwareRelevant experience in software systems engineering and integrationExperience in public transit and rail projects, mobility, and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS)Knowledge of relevant design standards and codes, including the Quebec Electrical CodePossession of a valid construction site safety card (ASP)Fluency in both French and English is required for this position to ensure effective interaction with our diverse stakeholders, clear communication, and the successful delivery of projects at the national levelFor more information, please contact Ibrahima Amadou LYCompany Culture & InclusionAt CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective.
