Job DescriptionTHE POSITION:To support a wide range of strategy, research, and communications projects.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:Liaise with project stakeholders as requiredConduct structured or systematic searches of medical literatureCritically review, interpret, and synthesize medical literatureDevelop drafts of publications (eg, manuscripts, abstracts, posters)Develop draft reports (eg, technical) and slide decksLiaise with key opinion leaders (eg, clinicians, health economists)Review, edit, and format draft documentsPerform quality assurance on model equations, written materials, etc.Develop drafts of product dossiers, value messages, marketing and sales materials, clinical summaries, and objection handlersDevelop cost-effectiveness and budget impact modelsParameterize and run models; review and interpret resultsConduct meta-analyses, NMAs, and simple statistical analysesDevelop draft statistical analysis plansConduct complex statistical analyses involving individual patient dataRun analyses using statistical software packages such as RAll other duties as assignedReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:Travel: Some travel may be required for meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/managementHours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per weekOvertime and/or weekend/evening hours may be required to meet project deadlinesThe above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the expectations of the position and shall not be construed as the only expectations that may be assigned for the position.An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the expectations listed above.PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.QualificationsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.Bachelor’s or higher-level university degree in a medical- or mathematics-related field such as biology, epidemiology, pharmacology, health economics, or statisticsTechnically competent with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointProficiency with computer programming software (eg, VBA) or other role-related software (eg, EndNote) is an assetStrong attention to detailStrong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skillsStrong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking capabilitiesAbility to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:MSc or PhD preferredAdditional InformationEVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary for this position is $70,686 and is not applicable to locations outside of the Canada. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
