Join our team in Nelson, Canada, as a Seasonal Customer Experience Representative and help us spread joy during our busiest time of the year We're looking for enthusiastic individuals who love interacting with people and have a knack for providing outstanding service.Create a warm and welcoming environment for our customersEngage in friendly and helpful interactions with customers on the sales floorAssist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisionsShare product knowledge and tell compelling stories about our merchandiseMaintain a neat and organized store appearanceOperate point-of-sale systems and process transactions accuratelyCollaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operationsAdapt to changing customer needs and store prioritiesParticipate in maintaining visual merchandising standardsContribute to a positive and supportive team atmosphereAssist with inventory management and restocking as neededStay informed about promotions, new products, and store policiesQualificationsExceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanorStrong communication abilities, both verbal and writtenAdaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic retail environmentEnthusiasm for learning about new products and servicesAbility to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periodsCapability to lift and move items weighing up to 40 pounds, using proper techniquesAvailability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysBasic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systemsProblem-solving aptitude to address customer concerns effectivelyTeam player mentality with a willingness to support colleaguesAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced settingRetail experience preferred but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalentAdditional InformationAt Indigo, we are committed to our communities, our customers, and each other; together we can make a positive impact.
