The opportunity As a Project Manager – Engineering, you will be a key contributor to our Grid & Power Quality Solutions (GPQS) team, specializing in Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS). FACTS technology empowers power system operators to significantly increase the capacity and stability of existing electrical infrastructure. This results in more efficient power delivery to customers, reduced environmental impact, and lower capital investment compared to traditional alternatives. You will be responsible for managing the entire engineering scope of FACTS projects—from proposal through execution—ensuring that all engineering disciplines are aligned, efficient, and compliant with contract specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. How you’ll make an impact Lead and coordinate all engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule targets. Support proposal development with innovative, cost-effective solutions. Conduct risk and opportunity assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and startup phases. Your background Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering; 7+ years of relevant experience Professional Engineering License or ability to obtain In-depth knowledge of National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE requirements In-depth knowledge of Transmission High-Voltage substations Knowledge of FACTS solutions (STATCOM, SVC, Series Capacitor) Experience working in Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) projects.
