Project Manager – Pharmaceutical and Chemicals Sector Join BBA Consultants as a high‑impact Project Manager to lead complex, bio‑based and specialty chemical projects across Ontario. Your role will bridge innovation, engineering and market development to position BBA as the region’s go‑to technical partner. Overview Type of position: Regular, Full‑time. You will be responsible for driving multidisciplinary project delivery, resolving technical and financial issues, and generating business opportunities through industry networking. Responsibilities Project Delivery Drive delivery of short‑term projects to long‑duration initiatives, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget completion. Manage and resolve technical, financial, schedule and workforce issues promptly to avoid variances. Ensure quality of professional services and preserve BBA’s professional image. Prepare project deliverables such as cost estimates, logistical plans, contract plans, schedules, study reports, execution plans, risk and opportunity registers. Coordinate technical deliverables across process, mechanical, piping, civil, structural, electrical and instrumentation disciplines. Project and Opportunity Development Build relationships with plant operators, developers, technology providers and government‑funded projects. Understand and promote BBA’s portfolio to existing and potential clients. Lead proposal preparation, including scope definition, budget and schedule estimation, and client presentations. Collaborate with the global market director to execute strategies positioning BBA in Ontario’s chemicals sector. Qualifications 15+ years of project development or technical consulting experience in energy, chemicals or cleantech. Deep understanding of the Ontario industrial and energy landscape. Proven client‑facing or business development track record. Experience in early‑stage project definition and stakeholder management. Up‑to‑date knowledge of market trends, emerging technologies and key sector investments. Asset: Experience in biomass.
