Through award-winning baseball‑for‑development programs, we partner with communities nationwide to help children and youth facing barriers unlock their potential. Position Details Reports To: Jays Care RBI Summer Edition Supervisor Duration: June 29, 2026 – August 21, 2026 Salary: The anticipated base compensation for this role is $19.00 per hour. Position Status: New Work Hours: 35 hours per week (average) Work Locations: Assigned to one of 8 schools within the Toronto District School Board (applicant will have opportunity to indicate location preference). Responsibilities Support the Coach in facilitating and participating in fun, inclusive baseball and active programming for a group of approximately 20 youth within a larger site of up to 200 children Serve as a positive role model to youth, staff, contributing to a warm, safe and welcoming environment Help support the implementation of life‑skills and problem‑solving strategies through group interactions and baseball play Attend and actively participate in staff training, gaining the tools and confidence to succeed in your role Ensure physical, emotional, and site safety protocols are consistently followed Address any behaviour concerns at once using Jays Care RBI Summer Edition behaviour management protocols and guidelines Support the group’s participation in site wide events and the final tournament, helping youth feel confident and prepared Our Ideal Candidate Has a genuine interest in working with kids and making a positive impact. All interested applicants should be aware that this is an in‑person role, employed by Jays Care with a seasonal fixed‑term contract. Camp staff are expected to be present at their designated job site each day of their summer contract, as well as attend all mandatory staff training. RBI Summer Edition (July & August) runs distinct from RBI Spring (April to June). Coaches hired for the Jays Care Spring program are eligible and encouraged to apply to work for RBI Summer Edition.
