Lead customer service and retail operations as a Store Manager in Calgary, Alberta, coaching teams and helping Pet Parents choose pet solutions.
Pet Valu seeks a Store Manager to develop employees and deliver world class service. You will support nutrition and product knowledge for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and small animals. The role also includes community relationships with shelters and humane societies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach employees on sales techniques and customer service
- Recruit, schedule, train, supervise, and assign team tasks
- Maintain courteous relationships within the community
- Coordinate orders, inventory, audits, repairs, and paperwork
- Coordinate staff efforts to achieve targeted results
Requirements:
- Minimum two years customer service experience
- Minimum two years retail store management experience
- Enthusiasm for learning and growth in pet care
- Strong customer service skills and friendly personality
- Weekend and evening availability with reliable transportation
